Using Wisdom

"But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition;
but of them that believe to the saving of the soul."
Hebrews 10:39 KJV

Lately I've been struggling with my weight, dieting and trusting that God has my back. I've been ashamed of this and so haven't posted here. For not posting and not trusting in God to help me, I am truly sorry.

Have you ever teamed up with other people to lose weight and then find that they are always breaking their diet or eating large amounts of food even though they are suppose to be working with you to lose weight and get healthy?

I have. And when they start cheating for some reason they encourage me to do the same. This is not healthy. This is them wanting to justify why they are eating what they are eating or not exercising or whatever it is that they have agreed to do with me and if they can get me to join them, then they don't feel so bad about what they've done or not done.

Now, I'm not saying it's my friends fault. It's mine! God gave me a mind and freedom of choice. And He's done the same for you.

Today I am coming back to the blog. I am using wisdom in who I tell I am working on my weight. I am using wisdom in who I partner with to join me in this journey. You can too. We do not have to be ashamed of being persuaded by others to give up.

But the biggest decisions I am making is to trust that God has my back and not to allow others to convince me otherwise.

 Please join me in these decisions. God has your back, too and together with God,
you, and me can become healthier.

Who's with me?
